Chapter 5 Preview
I know this post is kind of meta, but it’s important for me to warn you before we jump in.
Chapter 5 of Dream of the Red Chamber is probably the hardest chapter of the book to understand. It’s filled with poetry and with allusions to events that take place over the course of the rest of the book. And figuring out how stuff fits together is quite difficult.
