How Does Hua Xiren Really Feel?
Today’s post will be short and a little bit unusual.
After reading this post about Hua Xiren’s frustrations in the Jia family, and following it up with yesterday’s post in which her true feelings are made clear, I’m curious to know what you think.
It’s clear that Hua Xiren is testing Jia Baoyu’s loyalty to her. It’s also interesting that she would use this particular technique to test his loyalty. I think it says a lot about her as a character, and it’s not everybody who will say the complete opposite of what they really think to see if someone close to them actually cares for them.
But what do you think about their relationship? What do you think Hua Xiren’s true feelings are towards Jia Baoyu?
