Jia Rui Takes His Chance
This is a fairly well known passage where Wang Xifeng rebuffs the advances of Jia Rui. Jia Rui has been a pretty minor character to this point; we get to see a different side of him today. Meanwhile, Wang Xifeng’s determination to be more ruthless after this is also quite telling.
