Jia Zheng and Jia Baoyu
Today’s post marks the first time we’ve seen Jia Zheng interact with his son Jia Baoyu. The interaction is a bit jarring; this will become even more obvious when we get to our next translation post in a few days. This is a fascinating family relationship, though it’s probably not as kind or caring as we might be used to.
