Lin Daiyu Arrives at Rongguo Mansion
Though this is a somewhat technical passage, this is actually one of my favorite passages in the whole book. Cao Xueqin expertly takes his readers along with Lin Daiyu on a trip to a new world — one unknown to Lin Daiyu, and certainly unknown to most modern readers.
