Just wanted to say thank you for this project! I just started reading the book (Hawkes translation). English is not my first language (neither is Chinese) and I do find myself struggling to follow / understand the story at times. I am also always wondering about the cultural / historical context of the book so your posts have been really helpful!
Hi Daniel, I like the chapter links in this post, and the chapter summaries that link the set of posts for that chapter. They are very helpful, except that you ave only linked the first 3 chapters. Could you add links and chapter summaries for the additional chapters that you have translated. Thanks Arthur.

Is there somewhere that has just the translation up until this point or just the commentary, or is it just in posts?
At the moment it’s mostly in posts. I’m still working on organizing things a bit better.
Eventually I’ll have pages up devoted to each individual chapter, as well as pages devoted to each individual character.
