Tricky Text
It’s actually pretty easy to tell who today’s poem is about. This is a welcome change from the extremely abstract poems we’ve recently had about characters that we haven’t really met yet. There are a few literary devices at play here that are impossible to translate, which is precisely why I’m writing textual notes.
