Wang Xifeng Teases Jia Lian
We’ve got an extremely long passage today. However, this is important, and there really isn’t a good way to cut it up into two different passages. We see here a bit of highly significant teasing between Wang Xifeng and Jia Lian, as well as the first direct references we’ve seen to the political reality behind Dream of the Red Chamber.
