Who Killed Jia Rui?
If you’ve been reading along with me so far, you’ve seen the quick demise of Jia Rui.
Jia Rui started out in Dream of the Red Chamber as a minor character, and is described in a bad light as soon as he is introduced:
There’s little positive to say about Jia Rui. As we just saw in chapter 12, he made a pass at Wang Xifeng (who was married) numerous times, and wound up being so infatuated with the idea of being together with her that he passed away.
But who deserves the blame for his death?
