Kong Kong is the name of a mysterious Taoist at the beginning of Dream of the Red Chamber. He discovers the stone years after its story was written.
Kong Kong enters into a long debate with the stone about the nature of its story. The stone defends itself against Kong Kong’s subtle criticism, directly attacking the literary trends of Chinese literature in the 18th century.
