Secluded And Winding Path

If you’re like me and you didn’t grow up in a Chinese speaking environment, passages like yesterday’s can be a bit difficult to understand:
The problem here is the classic problem of trying to understand poetry in a foreign language. Because we are foreign students of the language, we don’t have the same background in the linguistic environment. We also generally lack cultural context, which makes certain aspects of the story surrounding the poetry a bit confusing.
