Blog Update
Thank you as always for your support and interest in this project!
I’ve got a somewhat embarrassing update. I’ve finally gotten the post breakdowns by chapter completed up through chapter 16.

I plan on updating these as time goes on, and also finding some time to write chapter synopses and a few other things to assist you with your reading.
Additionally, at some point in time in the future I’ll create English only versions of each chapter as full documents for paying subscribers. You can then give me feedback on the translation, and we can look together to see what reads well, what doesn’t, where I’ve made mistakes, and so on.
Finally, I’m going to slowly update the characters page to include the major and minor characters of the book. I’ll also likely create a few other pages that include links to commentary posts and summarize some of the major themes and motifs of the book.
It’s going to take years, of course. However, when all of this is done, this project will likely be the one stop shop for everything relating to Dream of the Red Chamber. Heck, I might even start working with some of the translations into other languages while I’m at it.
